Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Profluence, LLC ("Profluence", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Profluence application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: email address, name, authentication identifiers, and password hashes (when applicable).
• Connected account data: tokens and metadata for third-party platforms you choose to connect (e.g. YouTube).
• Usage data: in-app actions, feature usage, request logs, and diagnostic data needed to operate the Service.
• Billing data: processed by our payment processor; we receive transaction status and limited metadata, not full card numbers.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.

2. Google and YouTube API data

When you connect a Google or YouTube account, Profluence accesses information through Google API Services, including the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API. We request only the scopes needed to provide the features you enable, which may include:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly — read your YouTube channel, videos, and public metadata.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonly — read aggregated analytics for channels you own.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email and userinfo.profile — identify your Google account.

We use this data solely to provide and improve Profluence's creator-intelligence features (analytics, signal detection, forecasting, and opportunity matching) that you have requested.

Limited Use disclosure

Profluence's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, Profluence does not:

• Transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to users.
• Use Google user data to serve advertisements.
• Allow humans to read Google user data, except (a) with your affirmative consent, (b) for security purposes, (c) to comply with applicable law, or (d) where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
• Use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or machine-learning models.

YouTube API Services

The Service uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube account, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy.

2a. Meta Platform data (Facebook & Instagram)

When you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram Business/Creator account, Profluence accesses information through the Meta Graph API and Instagram Graph API. We request only the permissions needed to provide the features you enable, which may include:

• pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, pages_read_user_content — read your Page list, posts, and engagement metadata.
• read_insights — read aggregated Page and post insights for Pages you own.
• instagram_basic, instagram_manage_insights — read your Instagram Business/Creator profile, media, and aggregated insights.
• business_management — list Business assets you own so you can pick which Page or IG account to connect.

What we read. Aggregated Page, post, and account-level insights (reach, impressions, engagement, follower counts, audience demographics where available), public post metadata, and your own comments and replies on connected Pages.

What we do not read. Private messages (Messenger / IG DMs), ads, or data from accounts you do not own. We do not publish, comment, or message on your behalf.

How we use it. Solely to provide the reputation, signal-detection, forecasting, and opportunity-matching features you have enabled inside Profluence. We do not use Meta Platform data to serve advertising, and we do not use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

Retention. We keep a rolling 90-day window of Meta insights to power trend views and alerts. When you disconnect a Meta account or delete your Profluence account, associated tokens are revoked immediately and cached Meta data is deleted within 30 days. Revoking access. You can disconnect Profluence at any time from the Accounts page in the app, or from Facebook Settings → Business Integrations.

3. Revoking access

You can revoke Profluence's access to your Google or YouTube data at any time:

• Via Google: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
• Via Profluence: sign in and disconnect the account from the Accounts page.

Revoking access prevents future data retrieval. To also delete previously stored data, see "Deletion rights" below.

4. Deletion rights & data deletion instructions

You may request data deletion of your account and any platform-linked data at any time. See Data Deletion Instructions for the full step-by-step process, including Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google, and YouTube data.

• Disconnect a third-party account from the Accounts page — associated tokens are deleted immediately, and cached source data is purged within 30 days.
• For Meta accounts, you can also trigger data deletion from Facebook Settings → Business Integrations; Facebook will call our data deletion callback at /api/public/meta/data-deletion automatically.
• Delete your Profluence account by emailing legal@pro-fluence.com. We will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records).

5. How we store and protect data

Data is hosted on managed cloud infrastructure in the United States (AWS US West, Oregon region). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, access is scoped via row-level security, and authentication tokens for connected accounts are stored encrypted and never exposed to the browser.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with:

• Infrastructure subprocessors that operate the Service (hosting, database, email delivery, analytics).
• Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record and payment processor, for order processing, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and customer service related to purchases. Paddle acts as an independent controller for payment data it collects. See the Paddle Privacy Policy.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
• Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to users.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, port, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights contact legal@pro-fluence.com.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
