Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data that Profluence, LLC ("Profluence") holds about you, including data obtained from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), Google, and YouTube APIs.

Option 1 — In-app (recommended)

  1. Sign in to Profluence.
  2. Open Accounts from the sidebar.
  3. For any connected Facebook or Instagram account, click Delete Meta data. You will receive a confirmation code and a status URL where you can track the deletion (typically completed within minutes; guaranteed within 30 days).
  4. To delete your entire Profluence account and all associated data, open Settings → Delete account, or email legal@pro-fluence.com.

Option 2 — From Facebook

You can also trigger Meta data deletion directly from Facebook by removing the Profluence app:

  1. Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations.
  2. Find "Profluence" and click Remove.
  3. Facebook will automatically notify Profluence's data deletion callback at /api/public/meta/data-deletion. We will purge associated tokens immediately and delete cached Meta data within 30 days.

Option 3 — Email request

Email legal@pro-fluence.com from the address associated with your Profluence account. Include the connected platform handle(s) you want deleted. We respond within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • OAuth tokens for the connected Meta, Google, or YouTube account (immediately).
  • Cached platform data: follower counts, post metadata, aggregated insights, audience demographics, and any Reputation / Forecast / Opportunity records derived from that source (within 30 days).
  • For full-account deletion: profile, billing metadata, usage logs, and all derived intelligence records (within 30 days, except where retention is required by law).

Retention

Profluence retains Meta Platform data for a rolling 90-day window while your account is connected, solely to power trend views and alerts you have enabled. When you disconnect or request deletion, tokens are revoked immediately and cached Meta data is deleted within 30 days.
